Monticello Central School District is seeking an ELA Teacher to fill a vacancy.  The successful candidate must have current and appropriate NYS English Language Arts 7-12 certification.   

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have current and appropriate NYS English Language Art 7-12 certification.

The Monticello Central School District is in Sullivan County, NY, centrally located between New York City, Albany, and the Pocono Mountain region.  This provides a rare combination to live in a rural setting and still be close to major metropolitan areas for recreation and work.  Monticello is the largest of the eight county school districts with a multicultural enrollment of approximately 2,700 students.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have current and appropriate NYS Students with Disabilities 7-12 certification.

DESCRIPTION: Monticello Central School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve as a Leave Replacement from 9/8/26 to approximately 12/2/2026. Incumbents must have current and appropriate NYS Students with Disabilities 7-12, Generalist, or All Grades certification.  All applicants with a 7-12 or All Grades NYS Students with Disabilities in any subject are encouraged to apply.
